WARRANTY At Import Auto, we are dedicated to providing trouble- and worry-free repairs and services for our customers, and prevent any undesirable side-effects. We enjoy a very high AAA Customer Satisfaction Index rating, and based on our business since 1983, this trend has been improving continuously. We strive to do the work right the first time. Unfortunately, due to complexity of modern vehicles and occasional parts quality, occasionally warranty work has to be performed.   Our warranty is in effect whether a fault occurs while the vehicle is in our local area, while on the road away from home, or even after the vehicle is relocated elsewhere and still covered by our warranty. Our warranty and special situations policies are covered below. Import Auto Warranty We warranty our work for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, for parts and labor. We also warranty the work that we out-source, such as windshield replacement and minor body and paintwork. Specifically, our warranty for the work we perform is as follows: Less than 12 Months and Less than 12,000 miles Parts: No Charge Labor: No Charge to customer More than 12 Months and More than 12,000 miles Parts: Customer Pays Labor: Customer Pay Either Mileage or Time is More than Warranty Provision Import Auto will work with customer to develop an amicable resolution Import Auto's policy is to use OEM-like new parts (or remanufactured part specified by Warranty or Insurance company), unless customer specifies otherwise. If a customer specifies used part(s), a written waiver is required, whereby customer approves the use of used part(s) and takes full responsibility for any consequential damages and expenses (e.g., replacement of the used part, accidents due to used part failure, etc.). No parts or labor warranty is provided by Import Auto for repairs made with used parts. If customer supplies the part, no parts or labor warranty is provided by Import Auto. If the customer-supplied part does not fit correctly, or fails shortly after its installation, customer will pay for parts and labor to replace and/or correct the problem. If customer specifies a part or labor procedure other than those provided by Import Auto, no related warranty will be provided by Import Auto. In many cases, the labor charges may be higher than the standard charges which Import Auto applies. If customer installs his/her own parts and brings the vehicle to Import Auto for completion or "fine-tuning", e.g., alignment, calibration, or tweaking, no parts or labor warranty will be provided by Import Auto.
